I Love Trinket Dolls

click for larger imageThis is the Valentine's swap doll I received from Jeanne. So love it. I love all the different media. The look on the Queen's face is the best!

This one called my name. I love the acorn cap and the beaded bodice. Wish clothes like this came for real people!

Queen of Hearts Swap

click for larger imageOver at Decidedly Different Dolls, this month's swap was a Valentine Queen of Hearts.

Happy Birthday to DD1

click for larger imageToday was DD1's birthday. Due to me storing my calendar never where I am making plans, I had to schedule her party for later.

click for larger imageHowever, I have a friend, Mollyshannon, who is about five thousand leagues beyond the best. She called me this morning and asked if we all wanted to come over and have a wee bit of cake.

click for larger imageThis has got to be the most amazing wee bit of cake ever. Thank you ever so much, Mollyshannon, for baking a freaking SCULPTURE (!!!) and for feeding us dinner and everything. Your unexpected and totally cool efforts are completely appreciated!

(I feel like penguin tonight! Like penguin tonight!)

I Couldn't Be More Excited

click for larger imageCompletely crap picture, I know, but it couldn't be helped. I think I was still hyperventilating with the coolness of FINALLY having our stuff on display. These are the dolls from the South Whidbey Art Doll Round Robin 2009. We're giving a presentation later this month and I'll prolly be hyperventilating about that too. Makes you feel like you know what the hell you're doing when your stuff goes behind glass.
